Package/Container
R&D
Whether in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or food industry, package
designers are always striving to improve packaging while reducing
the raw materials and energy it takes to produce those packages. By
using the NanoVACQ-Deformation logger,
dimensional changes, and therefore structural integrity of the package,
can be recorded during thermal processing. Cans, pouches, sealed trays,
and other containers can benefit from this technology. Two loggers
can be mounted on each side of a container to read deformation in
both directions.
This system is especially powerful when used with a NanoVACQ-Long Pressure and Temperature
logger inside the container. Data from both loggers can be displayed
on the same graph allowing the user to see how both pressure and temperature
affect container distortion. A third pressure & temperature can
be used inside the retort, but outside the container to give an accurate
pressure differential.
